Expected UK Music Festivals 2023

Music fans are always anxiously awaiting the concerts of their favourite bands. And the opportunity to hear one or more of them in one evening, and even one ticket at a time, is just perfect. That’s why many people plan trips to music festivals in advance, sometimes even a year in advance. So what festivals are in store for Brits in early 2023?

Hammerfest 2023

Our list opens with Hammerfest, scheduled for February 2023. The event will last just two days – 11-12 February in Birmingham, so you should prepare in advance for the event and buy tickets in time to enjoy the atmosphere of fun, relaxation and total immersion in metal music.

Hammerfest is considered to be one of the best events for fans of this music genre. The festival offers amazing interaction with the audience, a unique atmosphere and amazing emotions that will be remembered forever.

Country 2 Country 2023

The first half of March 2023 is traditionally dedicated to the C2C or Country 2 Country music festival, which has been delighting audiences since 2013. And while the festival was previously held exclusively in London, country music is now enjoyed by the people of London, Glasgow and Dublin.

In 2023, the London Festival will take place at the O2 Arena, with an expected attendance of up to 80,000! Glasco is expecting just as many visitors. The expected venue is OVO Hydro, which will also be able to accommodate around 100,000 fans.

Liverpool Sound City 2023

Since 2012, almost every year the people of Liverpool have gathered in one designated venue to enjoy a mind-blowing showcase of headliners from around the world. Liverpool Sound City brings together lovers of different genres of music: grime, electronic, indie, pop, rock and more. Alongside world-renowned artists, the festival also showcases emerging talents who can make musicians fall in love with their work from the start.

The festival will take place at the legendary Baltic Triangle and Cains Brewery and will run for three days, from April 28 to 30. The official festival website is already open for purchase.

Land Beyond 2023

The end of April promises several music festivals across the UK. But many of them overlap in dates. Such as Liverpool’s Sound City and Land Beyond. Both festivals will take place on April 28-30. Music lovers will have to choose which festival they prefer.

Land Beyond is an event dedicated to electronic dance music. The festival won’t just be fun and thrilling, but will also open up a new world of drum and bass music. At this festival, you’re sure to get an unbelievable range of emotions and find like-minded people.

The Great Escape 2023

Extravaganza held annually in Brighton since 2016 and brings delightful numbers of listeners together at more than 30 locations. Fans will be treated to over 400 musical acts! The organisers guarantee a drive, energy and positivity, a vibrant experience and secret events.

This festival brings together people with completely different interests, but a unified, positive outlook on art. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to make your weekend incredibly rich and entertaining.

Slam Dunk Festival 2023

At the end of May, Temple Newsam Park will give a warm welcome to all lovers of the Slam Dunk style of music. If you haven’t heard of it before, let me tell you a little about it. This trend started in the early 2000s as pop-punk parties in Linds clubs. But having received considerable interest from a large number of visitors, growth was inevitable.

Today you can find famous bands such as Fallout Boy, Paramore and Panic at the festival. The festival usually attracts around 50,000 listeners. That’s why it’s better to buy tickets well in advance.

Wychwood Festival 2023

Music festivals are not just about gathering young people who are only interested in having a good time, drinking alcohol and listening to their favourite music. It is also a family event, where people go to enjoy good music with their loved ones. That’s exactly what the Wychwood Festival is all about.

The venue is Cheltenham Racecourse. The large grounds of the racecourse provide a variety of entertainment areas for children, with a range of workshops.  The music area of the festival involves setting up 4 stages plus one comedy stage. At the same time, there will be a food court area, literary areas for children and a real ale festival for adults.
